CHURCH EMERGENCY RESPONSE

West Africa's Children Are Dying

Only a few weeks after West Africa’s harvest season, no one is celebrating. There is no bounty of crops. No warehouses full of food. Children are hungry, sick, and barely hanging on.

As the hands and feet of Christ, your church is needed to extend a hand of mercy to help provide emergency food, agricultural support, healthcare, and more. Millions throughout Africa are desperate and hurting.

Right now, your church's gift multiplies 5 times in impact thanks to government grants. So $500 provides $2,500 in lifesaving emergency food, clean water, and other urgent care for hungry children and families.

Fast Facts:

• Over 6 million people are threatened in Niger alone. That’s almost half the country’s population.

• UNICEF estimates that this year more than a million children will need lifesaving treatment for severe malnutrition.
